I'm the right Doula for you if...

You believe birth is more than a medical event—it's a profound transformation. You understand that the way you prepare for birth shapes not only your experience of labor, but also your transition into parenthood.

You aren't looking for someone to take control of your birth. You are ready to take radical responsibility for your own experience, knowing that confidence comes from education, intentional preparation, and trusting yourself. You want to understand your options, ask thoughtful questions, and make decisions that align with your values. You know that while birth cannot be controlled, you can prepare for it with courage, curiosity, and intention.

You desire to approach birth without fear. Not because you expect it to be easy or predictable, but because you believe fear doesn't have to be the driving force behind your choices. You are committed to replacing fear with knowledge, connection, and trust—in yourself, in your body, and in the birth process.

Whether you're planning an epidural, an unmedicated birth, a hospital birth, or a home birth, you value feeling informed, supported, and deeply respected. You know there is no single "right" way to give birth—only the right path for you.

You also recognize that birth is the beginning of matrescence: the profound unfolding that accompanies becoming a parent. You honor this season of transformation with the same care and intention you bring to preparing for labor, understanding that who you become is just as important as how you give birth.

You value authentic relationships and individualized support. You want a doula who will walk beside you—not to make decisions for you, but to provide evidence-based information, unwavering encouragement, and a steady presence through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Because I intentionally support only two birth clients each month, my clients value a deeply personal experience. They often reach out early in pregnancy because they know that trust, confidence, and meaningful preparation are cultivated over time. Together, we prepare not just for birth, but for one of life's most significant transitions.

I truly believe, deep in my heart, that my doula services should remain accessible to the central Ohio families who need and value this kind of support. At the same time, I hold the responsibility of ensuring my work can sustainably support my own family.

With both of those commitments in mind, I’ve thoughtfully set my pricing to reflect a balance between accessibility and sustainability. I also understand that every family’s circumstances are unique, so I’ve created a variety of discounts that can be combined in different ways. Meet the Back-ups

When you hire me, I am fully committed to being by your side for your birth—and the vast majority of the time, I will be there. That said, birth is unpredictable, and on very rare occasions—such as illness, overlapping labors, or if you go into labor outside of our on-call window—I may not be able to attend.

If that unlikely situation arises, you will still be in incredibly capable and caring hands. I have trusted, experienced, and certified backup doulas who share my values and approach, and one of them will step in to support you at no additional cost.

I’m honored to introduce my backup doulas, Sarah Finisterre and Phoebe Byers. We work closely together and even host quarterly birth plan workshops, giving you the opportunity to meet them ahead of time while also preparing for your birth in a supportive, collaborative space.
