"Emily is wonderful. She is present, dedicated, honest, experienced, and supportive. This was our first pregnancy/birth and despite finding her late in our process, having her in our corner was such a relief and took a huge weight off of our shoulders. It was clear that she cared about us as people, not just clients. She has a packet of questions that she went through with us to learn about who we are, what we like, what we don't, and what kind of experience we hope to have. It was so helpful, not only in helping us to open up a bit more, but also to guide us to building the best birth plan possible for who we are. She presented us with options when applicable, and never led us any decisions - she gave us pros and cons and information, but each decision was ultimately ours and we never felt judged or uncomfortable. We had a hospital birth with the midwives and had someone come into our room rather inappropriately, and Emily was very quick to shut them down. We very much appreciated her support and advocacy!"
